BUCYRUS ― A Bucyrus man and three others were arrested Thursday morning after officers responded to a disturbance call.

At 8:34 a.m., Joey T. Lewis, 34, was arrested at a house trailer in the 500 block of Failor Avenue on warrants out of Richland and Wyandot counties.

“Our officers were called to the trailer for a disturbance,” Bucyrus Police Chief David Koepke said. “There was no heat at the trailer and they were using propane heaters to stay warm. People kept coming out of rooms in the trailer and there ended up being a total of nine people there.”

Koepke said it is unclear as to who is on the lease for the trailer, if anyone.

Suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were recovered by officers. Four people, including Lewis, were arrested and were detained at the Crawford County Justice Center.

The incident remains under investigation.
