Expect the skies to light up this weekend for the Fourth of July festivities.
Ontario, Willard, and Upper Sandusky will kick off the fireworks shows on July 1 at Ontario High School, Willard City Park, and Upper Sandusky High School, respectively. Ontario has scheduled a rain date for July 2.
Galion will follow-up with its show on July 2 at Heise Park.
Bucyrus and Crestline are hosting their fireworks shows on July 3 at the Crawford County Fairgrounds and Hutson Stadium, respectively. Crestline set a rain date for July 5. Columbus’ Red, White and Boom will also take place on Monday as will the Mt. Gilead fireworks show at the Morrow County Fairgrounds.
Marion is the lone area town that will have its fireworks show on the nation’s birthday.
Finally, there will be fireworks on July 8 at Skiles Field in Shelby.
Most shows will begin at dusk.
