BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Fourth of July celebrations are approaching, bringing with them a host of firework displays across area communities. While the holiday holds diverse meanings for individuals, it largely serves as a summer gathering for friends and family.

Most firework shows are slated to begin at dusk, typically between 9:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Community members whose local display is not listed are encouraged to submit information via email to news@wbcowqel.com.

Planned fireworks events include:

  • Bucyrus: July 3 at the Downtown Bucyrus Lane Street Soccer Field.
  • Galion: July 4 at Heise Park.
  • Crestline: July 3 at Old Hutson Stadium on Washington Avenue, with a rain date of July 5.
  • Marion: July 4 at the Marion County Fairgrounds.
  • Ontario: June 28 at Marshall Park.
  • Loudonville: July 4 at Riverside Park.
  • Mansfield: July 6 at Charles Mill Lake Park.
  • Bellville: June 29 as part of the “Light Up The Valley” Celebration.
  • Mount Gilead: July 3 at Mount Gilead High School.
  • Mount Vernon: July 4 at Ariel Foundation Park.
  • Upper Sandusky: July 3 behind Upper Sandusky High School.
  • Shelby: July 12 at W.W. Skiles Field.
  • Columbus: The “Red, White & Boom” event will take place July 3 in Downtown Columbus.
