A 32-year-old Bucyrus man pleaded guilty to drug possession in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Thursday afternoon.

Robert Baker was arraigned on felony four possession of heroin and felony five permitting drug abuse on May 18. Baker was arrested in April during a drug bust on Monnett Street in Bucyrus along with his brother Eric Baker, Keith Washington and Christine Stevens.

Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Baker to the maximum prison term allowable, 18 months, on the fourth-degree felony. He was fined the mandatory $2,500 drug fine, and his driver’s license was suspended for six months. Baker must also forfeit drug-related property.

Stevens was sentenced to eight months in prison earlier this month following her guilty plea to drug possession. Charges against Eric Baker were dismissed while Washington’s case has been continued.
