Supervisor Boot Camp is now accepting applications for its third round of classes.
Six weekly interactive sessions provide training that strengthen and advance supervisory skills. Each session is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is held at the Crawford County Education and Economic Development Partnership office, 117 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus. Training includes a light breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Supervisor Boot Camp is open to all public and private sector organizations in Crawford County.
The curriculum breakdown for Supervisor Boot Camp 3 is as follows:
- Employment Law (Aug. 29)
- Communication and Motivation (Sept. 5)
- Time and Change Management (Sept. 12)
- Taking Corrective Action (Sept. 19)
- Coaching Skills for Leaders (Sept. 26)
- Conflict Resolution (Oct. 3)
The fall session is limited to 20 students, though no more than three students per company. Tuition for each Boot Camper is $650 and includes a seventh session for “the boss.” This new course is called “Making Training Pay Off” and will be held Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon. It will provide some training that will reinforce what students learn in Supervisor Boot Camp to ensure that the investment pays off.
All participants who complete the entire six-day Supervisor Boot Camp course will receive a graduation certificate, training manual and workbooks, a Supervisor Boot Camp camouflage t-shirt, and a 5×7 class photo at the graduation ceremony.
