BUCYRUS—The Sale of Champions took place Saturday morning at the Crawford County Fair.
The Grand Champion beef steer, exhibited by Allison Lust, sold for four thousand dollars to Dr. Ashley Miley of Ohio Health.
The Reserve Grand Champion beef steer, exhibited by Kendal Widman, sold for two thousand five hundred dollars to Beck’s Hybrids and Brause Farms LLC.
The Grand Champion beef feeder, exhibited by Sydney Stirm, sold for three thousand five hundred dollars to Hempy Water.
The Reserve Grand Champion beef feeder was exhibited by Lyndie Williams and sold for one thousand seven hundred dollars to Pioneer Seed – Greg Schifer.
The grand champion poultry pen was exhibited by Cheyenne Monk and sold for six hundred dollars to Schiefer Insurance Services.
The reserve champion poultry pen was exhibited by Lane Burge and sold for five hundred dollars to Apex Clean Energy.
The gallon of milk from the dairy exhibitors, Connor Corwin, Sydnee Corwin, Alyssa Goldfuss, Natalie Goldfuss, Cole Hudson, Brooke Slagle, Alexis Stansberry, Allie Tieben, Lily Tieben, and Lane Bauer, sold for three thousand five hundred dollars to Zippy’s Manure Service.
The grand champion dairy feeder was exhibited by James Schiefer and sold for eight hundred dollars to Burkhart Farm Center.
The reserve grand champion dairy feeder was exhibited by Atlee Miller and sold for one thousand six hundred dollars to Mizick Miller & Co., People’s Savings and Loan Co., Committed Builders LLC, Brause Farms LLC, First Federal Community Bank, and Timken.
The grand champion dairy market steer was exhibited by Avery Langenderfer and sold for two thousand dollars to Committed Builders LLC, Hord Family Farms, Brause Farms LLC, Buzz and Janel, Pioneer Seeds, First Federal Community Bank, Mizick Miller & Co., and Glenville Packing.
The reserve champion dairy market steer was exhibited by Avery Langenderfer and sold for one thousand two hundred dollars to Kendra Hudson – Field Advisor, and Craig and Karen Hudson.
The grand champion rabbit meat pen was exhibited by Trinity Spackey and sold for six hundred dollars to WMS Marketing Services LLC.
The grand champion single fryer rabbit was exhibited by Hayden Finney and sold for six hundred to WMS Marketing Services LLC.
The grand champion goat was exhibited by Mallorie Williams and sold for one thousand five hundred dollars to Morral Companies LLC, Greg Schifer – Pioneer Seeds, and Poet Biorefining – Marion.
The reserve champion goat was exhibited by Lyndie Williams and sold for two thousand three hundred dollars to Morral Companies LLC, Greg Schifer – Pioneer Seeds, and Poet Biorefining – Marion.
The grand champion market lamb was exhibited by Harper Horning for five thousand four hundred fifty dollars to Sunrise Cooperative, Johnson Show Lambs, Cole Distributing, Izzie King, King’s Livestock and Feed, Randy’s Tire & Auto Repair, Modern Woodmen, Long Farms, Chris and Debbie Horning, Double H Sheepadoodles, J&F Construction, and Apex Clean Energy. This was the only record set at this sale.
The reserve champion lamb was disqualified due to a rule infraction.

The alpaca representatives, Alivia Wise, AJ Wise, Alaina Parr, Autumn Gosser, Carly Kent, Cassandra Kurek, Cody Miesse, Colby Kent, Elizabeth Schubert, Emma Pahl, Grace Everett, Hunter Gibbons, Kyle Smith, Lilly Gosser, Linnea Gerlach, Maria Smith, Mark Sheets, Marlie Hosey, Mercedes Beck, Mia McKenzie, and Navi Lemasters earned one thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars from EZ Clean Laundry Mat and Galion Veterinary Hospital.
