GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—History was made at the Amvets Post 1979 in Galion on Saturday night as they became the 16th Riders Charter in Ohio.
The Amvets Riders are a dedicated group of motorcycle riders who strongly respect their Nation, flag, and the military…past, present, and future.
As an officially designated rider’s chapter, they will organize events such as poker runs and raffles to raise funds to support local veterans and their families.
Larry “The Godfather” Saad, the President of Amvets National Riders, conducted the induction ceremony and officer installations. Several other notable guests, including Sandy Vorhies, the Nation’s 3rd Vice Commander, and Barb Cruse, Ohio State Rider’s President, were also present at the event.
