A popular History Channel television show is coming to Ohio and accepting inquiries from individuals hoping to appear on air.
The antique and rummage show “American Pickers” is set to film in Ohio in the early weeks of September.
Specific dates and locations have not been announced as show producers will wait to see the response of local residents.
The show features pickers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz who search through collections and junk piles of every-day Americans’ barns, attics and sheds, and hope to find hidden treasures to sell at their stores.

A representative of the show said a specific collection is not necessary for a person to apply to be on the show.
“Anyone who watches the show has seen that the guys love to dive into large piles of stuff and try to find what they can,” she said. “So, a specific collection isn’t needed.”
Anyone wishing to apply to be on the show may do so by emailing americanpickers@cineflix.com, calling 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878) or through the show’s Facebook page.
