GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Alpha House in Galion stands as a beacon of hope for men grappling with addiction.
Alpha House offers safe housing, and a structured recovery program aimed at helping men dealing with addiction rebuild their lives.
Gina Powell, owner of AA Bail Bonds in Galion, supports the services offered by the Alpha House.
Powell, a certified interventionist and a bail agent since 2005, deals with men and women suffering from addiction on a daily basis.

In addition to helping people get released from jail, Powell is passionate about getting them on the road to recovery:
“One life saved is a success. I feel the Alpha House is a great thing for our community,” Powell said.
Since touring the house, Powell has sent several of her clients there.
“The Alpha House is a great asset to the community, and I will continue to support them,” Powell concluded.
Jaremy Crouse is the Director of Intake and Community Relations for seven Alpha and Georgia’s Houses, including the Galion location.

As a dedicated recovery ministry, the nonprofit organization relies on community support to provide its essential services at no cost to participants.
The program is carefully designed to address the various challenges associated with addiction, integrating substance use counseling, mental health services, primary care, case management, and peer support services.
In addition to these foundational services, Alpha House offers vocational programs and internship opportunities, equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Crouse is passionate about fostering community healing and empowering individuals to regain control of their lives, aligning with the belief that everyone has the potential to fulfill their purpose.

Because the Alpha House relies on community support, the organization will be making calls for the next month in their communities to ask for support.
“Even if it’s only $1, it makes a difference in someone’s life,” Crouse said.
Tax forms are available for those who want to donate for tax purposes.
For intake information, those needing the services of the Alpha House can call 440-420-4700.
