BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The stalking trial of a Galion woman, Jennifer Glaeser, continued on its second day in the Crawford County Common Pleas Court with Judge Sean Leuthold presiding.

Glaeser, 45, is facing multiple felony charges related to stalking a Galion man. The initial interaction between Glaeser and the primary victim occurred at the Galion YMCA, where Glaeser worked as a yoga instructor and the victim worked there in maintenance.

Marla Grimes, the YMCA Welcome Manager and Special Events Coordinator, testified for the State during the trial. Grimes informed the jury that she has a clear view of all individuals entering the facility from her front desk at the Welcome Center, including those using fobs for entry. Grimes became aware of the stalking allegations against Glaeser when her supervisors informed her about complaints made by the victim and another member.
She was instructed to monitor the situation closely to assess the alleged stalking behavior. Grimes observed that Glaeser often followed the victim into the YMCA, even when she wasn’t teaching yoga classes. This pattern was also noticed with the other victim.
Grimes mentioned that other employees had also noticed Glaeser’s presence in the same area where the victims were working out. Grimes shared two concerning incidents where she caught Glaeser behind the desk, attempting to access member information on the computer. Despite being warned twice, Glaeser continued to breach the counter to try to look up information on both victims. Worried about the situation, Grimes changed the victim’s phone number to (419) 8675309 and his address to 1111 Nowhere St.
The final straw for the YMCA occurred when Glaeser was caught on camera passing a note to a desk worker, requesting information about the victim’s presence on the property, despite a protection order being in place. The worker reported the incident, leading to Glaeser’s termination. Glaeser later filed a complaint with the National YMCA.
