Voters in Crawford County townships were generous in their support of tax levies Tuesday. They passed all eight levies in front of them. The levies focused on fire and EMS services or equipment.
Five of the eight were renewals with an additional 1-mill levy passed in Bucyrus Township. Cranberry Township voters passed a replacement levy and voters in Chatfield Township passed a combination replacement and additional levy.
All 16 townships elected two trustees. They are:
Auburn – Zachary Alt and Thomas Karl;
Bucyrus – Charles Grau and J.D. Hord;
Chatfield – Arnold Auck and Richard Hanes;
Cranberry – Burton Geissman and Louis Niedermier;
Dallas – David Jury and Bill Wert;
Holmes – Steven Kalb and Ron Miller;
Jackson – Lonny Parella Sr. and Robert White;
Jefferson – Richard Eichhorn and Matthew Weber;
Liberty – Jamie Crall and Jamie Aaron Sherk;
Lykens – David Weisenauer and Tim Weisenauer;
Polk – Tom Ray and Russell Sellman Jr.;
Sandusky – Phillip Feik and Jason Long;
Texas – Bryan Brause and Garey Keller;
Tod – Brian Sand and Dale Sipe;
Vernon – William Muntis andChad Niese;
Whetstone – Dale Garverick and Andrew Lohr.
Cranberry Township elected a third trustee, Thomas Sheibley, to finish an unexpired term. Jefferson Township voters also elected Kathryn Weber as fiscal officer.
