PORT CLINTON—African Safari Wildlife Park is gearing up for its annual First Responder Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
First responders and their families are invited to visit the Park for a free day of animal encounters, camel rides, and educational animal programs. Complimentary meals will be served in the Park’s Safari Café from 12 to 3 p.m.
First Responders Day is open to first responders in the employ of the City of Port Clinton, Danbury Township and Catawba Island Township and their families only.
For the purposes of this event, first responders are defined as active or retired employees and volunteers of police and fire departments, and active or retired paramedics and emergency medical technicians. A valid employee or volunteer ID is required to participate in this event.
