Kim Gasuras, a longtime area newspaper reporter has joined the staff of Crawford County Now. Gasuras worked for ten years as a reporter for the Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum and has been a freelance writer since 1995. Her articles have appeared online and in numerous newspapers including USA Today, The Crestline Advocate and the Galion Inquirer. Her work also has been featured in Ohio Outdoors and Recreation.
“We are so excited to have Kim join our team here at Crawford County Now”, said Kim Goyer General Manager of the North Central Ohio Media Group. “Kim is local, well-known, trusted and understands what the readers of Crawford County Now need and expect. She will help us make Crawford County Now a force to be reckoned with. Our goal is to provide laser-focused coverage of all things Crawford County,” concluded Goyer.
In addition to reporting local news, Gasuras is writing her first book, “When Two Journeys Became One”, the story of her father’s immigration from Greece to Bucyrus. Her parents Bill and Dorothy live in Bucyrus where their son Chris Gasuras now owns the family restaurant, Little Athens.
Kim is the mother of two children, Kyle Fulwider of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Kiana Keller who resides in Bucyrus. She is “Nana” to grandchildren Dariana, 4, and Brayden, 3. She is looking forward to the birth of her third grandchild in January.
