BUCYRUS—Absentee voting starts on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, for the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. You may vote by coming into the Crawford County Board of Elections Office during the following hours: 

  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, from October 5, 2021, through October 8, 2021 
  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., *Tuesday through Friday, from October 12, 2021, through October 15, 2021 
  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from October 18, 2021, through Friday, October 22, 2021 
  • 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from October 25, 2021, through Friday, October 29, 2021 
  • 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 
  • 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2021 
  • 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2021 

You may also apply by mail. The Board of Elections Office has a form you can request or write a letter giving your Crawford County address, where you want the ballots mailed if it is a different address, your date of birth, the last four digits of your Social Security number, or your driver’s license number, the date of the election, and a statement that you are a qualified elector. 

Absentee balloting by mail ends on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at noon. 

Absentee balloting in person ends Monday, November 1, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. The Board of Elections Office will be open until 2:00 p.m. on that day for absentee voting. 

Absentee ballots must be returned to the Board of Elections Office by 7:30 p.m. on election day.
