BUCYRUS — Absentee voting is underway for the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Citizens may vote by coming to the Crawford County Board of Elections office during the following hours:
- Oct. 8-11 and 15-18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 21-25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Nov. 3, 2019 from 1-5 p.m.
- Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Voters also may apply by mail. A form is available by request or by writing a letter with the voter’s Crawford County address, where the ballots are to be mailed if it is a different address, date of birth, the last four digits of the voter’s social security number or the voter’s driver’s license number, the date of election, and a statement that the voter is a qualified elector.
Voter’s are asked to sign his or her name.
Absentee balloting by mail ends Saturday, Nov. 2 at noon. Absentee balloting in person ends Monday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m.
The board of elections office will be open until 2 p.m. on that day for absentee voting.
Absentee ballots must be returned to the board of elections office by 7:30 p.m. on election day.
The Crawford County Board of Elections office address is 112 E. Mansfield St. in the Lower Level of the County Administration Building.

The Crawford County Board of Elections office is closed on Monday, Oct. 14 in observance of Columbus Day.
