ONTARIO, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Ontario Athletic Boosters brought the community together on Saturday, March 21, for a fun-filled evening supporting local student-athletes at their Purse Bingo fundraiser.
Held at the Richland County Fairgrounds Fairhaven Hall, the event drew a full crowd from 5 to 11 p.m., with tables of friends, families, and community members coming together for a night out—all for a great cause.
From the moment doors opened, the atmosphere was relaxed, social, and full of energy. Guests enjoyed dinner, a charcuterie table, pizza, and a cash bar while getting settled in for the night ahead. The highlight of the evening was 20 rounds of bingo, each giving players the chance to win a designer purse, keeping the excitement going all night long.
Beyond bingo, there was plenty more to keep people engaged. Raffle baskets, extra games, and a special drawing for a Louis Vuitton purse added even more buzz to an already lively crowd.
The night wouldn’t have been possible without the support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals who sponsored purses and helped bring the event together. Sponsorships included brands like Kate Spade, Prada, Coach, Louis Vuitton, and Michael Kors, all backed by local supporters who continue to show up for Ontario’s athletes.
It was clear throughout the evening just how much this community supports its schools. From local professionals and small businesses to families and friends filling the room, the turnout spoke for itself.
More than anything, the night was about connection. Laughter filled the room, cheers followed every bingo call, and there was a shared sense of excitement and purpose from start to finish. Events like this not only raise funds, they also bring people together.
