BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—It was a busy day of learning and connection at the Crawford Success Center, where multiple trainings brought individuals from across the community together with one shared goal: growth.

Through North Central State College Workforce Development, participants had the opportunity to take part in two different trainings, each designed to strengthen leadership skills in practical, meaningful ways.

One session focused on Women in Leadership, creating space for honest conversation, reflection, and skill-building. Participants worked through topics like confidence, communication, and navigating challenges, while also taking time to identify their own strengths and leadership style.

At the same time, another group participated in Leadership Series 1, which covered key areas including leadership, conflict, communication, and teamwork. The training offered real-world tools participants can take back to their workplaces, helping them better connect with others, handle challenges, and lead more effectively.

While the topics were different, the purpose behind both sessions was the same: investing in people.

Throughout the day, the Crawford Success Center was filled with conversation, collaboration, and moments of reflection. Participants weren’t just sitting and listening; they were sharing experiences, practicing new skills, and learning from one another.

These types of trainings continue to play an important role in supporting the local workforce, giving individuals the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

As the day wrapped up, one thing was clear: when people are given the tools and space to grow, it creates a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the classroom.

And at the Crawford Success Center, that kind of impact is happening every day.
