SR 61 and SR 309 to close for railroad crossing repairs

State Route 61 and State Route 309, just south of Monnett-New Winchester Road in Polk Township, will close Friday, April 18.

State Route 61 and State Route 309, just south of Monnett-New Winchester Road in Polk Township, will close Friday, April 18 for railroad crossing repair work.

The detour route for southbound motorists is SR 61/SR 309 to State Route 19, south on SR 19 to State Route 288, west on SR 288 to SR 61 or SR 309, and reverse for northbound motorists.

The road is expected to reopen on May 2, 2014.
