The 157th edition of the Crawford County Fair wrapped up Saturday but not before man’s best friend had an opportunity to show off a little.
The 4-H Dog Show was held Saturday morning under the keen eye of judge Kerry Greer.
Malyane Widman was one of the many winners at Saturday’s show.
“I won reserve grand champion and rally and in I believe obedience. We did a lot of work today to set all this up and make all this happen,” Widman said. “It’s a lot fun seeing the little kids and older kids bringing in and learning new things with their dogs. It’s a great experience especially when you’re an older one and you get to be an example for the younger ones.”
The show featured a variety of breeds including a German shepherd, boxers, a Yorkshire terrier and Labrador retrievers to name a few.
