BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Community Foundation for Crawford County Board of Trustees welcomed four new members at its September board meeting: Sebastian Berger, Jan Fulton, Clayton Herold, and Zoe Kent. The new trustees bring diverse professional backgrounds and extensive community involvement to the organization, which focuses on improving Crawford County’s quality of life.

Berger, an attorney with Garner & Berger, LLP in Crestline, graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 2003. He is active in local volunteer roles with Crestline Child Care, Salvation Army, and Waycraft. His wife, Jessica, previously served two terms on the Foundation’s board.

Fulton retired earlier this year after decades of owning and operating the Dexter Company, a Bucyrus business that sells roadside mowers, snowplows, salt spreaders, and truck packages, with her husband, Al. The couple, who value education, established a scholarship fund with the Foundation in 2022. Fulton remains active with Bucyrus First Presbyterian Church.

Herold is an Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending with Park National Bank, having worked in the banking industry since 2001. His extensive community involvement includes the Crawford Partnership, Crestline Lions Club, Crestline Community Development Team, and the Crestline Exempted Village School District Board of Education. Herold is a former Crestline council member and mayor, and previously served on the Foundation’s Development Committee.

Kent is an eighth-generation farmer at Kent Farms, a family operation near Bucyrus established in 1820. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. Kent is also known as a “farm fluencer” with one of the largest social media communities in agriculture under the handle @farmwithzoe, where she posts videos of her daily life on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. She also coaches cheerleading for Wynford schools.

The new trustees join current board members: Adam Paynter (Chair), Wayne Kohler (Vice-Chair), Dave Riedel (Secretary), Zach Chatlain (Treasurer), Deb Cameron, Kevin Kimmel, Erin McMullen, and Joe Walsh.

The Community Foundation for Crawford County is a tax-exempt, public, charitable foundation dedicated to bridging philanthropy with causes that enhance the community.
