BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Hunter Hickman, 32, of Tiro, entered a guilty plea to one count of intimidation in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Monday.
Hickman, who formerly served as a youth pastor, was originally charged with voyeurism, a fifth-degree felony, last July. That charge carried a maximum sentence of up to twelve months in prison. Following the initial charge, he faced an additional felony charge of intimidation, which is classified as a third-degree felony and carries a maximum sentence of 36 months in prison.
Prosecutor Matt Crall announced the dismissal of the voyeurism charge. Hickman then pleaded guilty to the more serious intimidation charge, which involved the intimidation of an attorney, victim, or witness in a criminal case.
Represented by attorney Nicholas Fagnano, Hickman was sentenced by Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold to 24 months of community control. As part of his sentence, Hickman is prohibited from having any contact with the victim involved in the case.
