BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Junior Fair Royalty contest is set to take place on Monday, July 15 at 3pm in the Youth Building. This year, the contest features three queen candidates and one princess candidate, all of whom have shown remarkable dedication to their communities and 4-H clubs.

Brianna Farnsworth

Brianna Farnsworth

Brianna Farnsworth is the daughter of Nicole Gulau and Don Farnsworth. She has been in the Dairy Maids & Gents 4-H club for 7 years. Brianna is in her second year on the Crawford County Jr Fair Board. She attends Colonel Crawford High School, in which she is involved in cheerleading, Leo Club, Choir and Theater. Brianna also enjoys volunteering for the Human Society in both Crawford and Hardin counties. She is planning on going to college after high school for her master’s in forensic science and criminology. With these degrees Brianna has a goal of working in a lab or in a police department.

Gracie Stirm

Gracie Stirm

Gracie Stirm is the daughter of George and Dorene Stirm. She is 17 years old and will be a senior at Colonel Crawford High School. She is involved in cheerleading, 4-H, Treble Threat, Vision, Young Life, Youth Group, and FFA where she is currently the Treasurer. This is her tenth year in 4-H showing swine and beef steers. She has been a member of the North Robinson Blue Ribbons 4-H Club throughout those ten years and is currently the club President. She enjoys being involved in FFA, helping others, trying new things, volunteering, participating in community service activities, spending time with her animals, hanging out with her friends, and playing with her dogs at home.

Linnea Gerlach

Linnea Gerlach

Linnea Gerlach, 17, is a 2024 graduate of Wynford High School; she graduated as the class salutatorian. Linnea is a 13-year member of the Mt. Zion Buckeyes 4-H Club. In 4-H she has taken a variety of sewing projects and the Llama and Aplaca project. At Wynford, she served as the senior class secretary as well as being involved in Interact Club, FCCLA (vice president), Student Council, National Honor Society (vice president), Drama Club and Science Club. She was also a varsity cheerleader and swimmer for her school. Outside of school, Linnea is the secretary of the Crawford County Junior Fair Board and works as a server at Miller’s Drive-In and The Café at The Pickwick Place. Linnea was recently named a Leadership Scholar at Syracuse University where she will study chemistry and forensic science. During the 2024 Crawford County Fair, Linnea will show her alpaca, Hershey.

Trinity Spackey

Trinity Spackey

Trinity Spackey is the 15-year-old daughter of Corey and Erin Spackey. She will be a sophomore at Ontario High School in the fall. Trinity is currently a member of the Galion Blue Ribbon Achievers 4-H club but started her 4-H career as a cloverbud in Hocking County 4-H. Since moving she has gotten involved as a Crawford County 4-H camp counselor and recently attended Ohio 4-H Leadership Camp. This past summer she also worked as a 4HEYA member at the state fair and was selected to serve again in 2024.
