BUCYRUS — One man was transported by medical helicopter after a single-vehicle crash on King Road on Sunday.

According to information provided by the Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department, a Prospect man was traveling on King Road on a motorcycle when he traveled off the roadway and crashed.

It is believed by some officials the crash occurred sometime in the early morning at approximately 4 a.m.

Crews responded to the scene Sunday evening. The man was found alive.

He was transported by medical helicopter from the scene.

Firefighters cleared the scene at approximately 7:30 p.m.

A representative of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office said more information will be released as it is made available pending additional investigation into the matter.
