Absentee ballots have arrived at the Crawford County Board of Elections for the Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. You may vote by coming into the office during the following hours:
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, from April 1, 2014 through April 4, 2014;
• 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday, April 7, 2014;
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, from April 8, 2014 through April 11, 2014;
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, from April 14, 2014 through May 2, 2014;
• 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 3, 2014.
This is a Primary Election and you will need to declare your political party to vote.
You may also apply by mail. We have a form you can request or just write a letter giving your Crawford County address, where you want the ballots mailed if it is a different address, your date of birth, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number or your driver’s license number, the date of election, a statement that you are a qualified elector and the type of ballot you wish to vote-Democratic, Republican, Green, Libertarian, or Issues Only and sign your name.
Absentee balloting in person ends Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. Our office will be open until 12:00 p.m. on that day. Absentee balloting by mail ends on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at noon.
Absentee ballots must be returned to the Board of Elections office by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
Please note that the Board of Elections office has moved across the street to 112 E. Mansfield St. in the Lower Level of the County Administration Building.
