A plea to a charge of second-degree felony burglary has resulted in a prison sentence for a Galion man.
Twenty-six-year-old Scott Moore changed his plea to guilty on Monday in front of Common Pleas Court Judge Russell Wiseman. With a plea arrangement in place, Moore was sentenced to four years in prison. The maximum sentence allowable was eight years.
Moore will receive credit for 147 days served in the county jail and can apply for judicial release after a total of 15 months served. When released Moore must go into an approved in-patient drug and alcohol treatment facility.
In addition, Moore was fined $1,250 and must pay a yet-to-be-determined amount of restitution to the victims in the case.
