Galion City Council members could have a long night ahead of them Tuesday by the looks of the agenda that will come before them. No less than 11 legislative items are on that agenda along with a report from Mayor Tom O’Leary and comments from Council President Carl Watt.
Two of the legislative items scheduled for a vote will be third readings and go into effect immediately if passed. They are the pay and benefits contracts for the city’s exempt employees and an amendment regarding permanent appropriations for 2014.
Among those items getting a first reading are annexation and the appointment of David Keller as the city’s prosecuting attorney.
