Carol A. Dunn, 74, of Shelby and former Galion resident, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Ohio Health MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield.
She was born April 29, 1944 in Fremont and was the daughter of Dennis and Hazel (Quandt) Gary. Carol married Edwin Dunn on September 9, 1983 and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2015.
She graduated from Findlay High School in 1962 and had worked as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at the former Crestline Hospital. Carol was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion.
She is survived by daughters Barbara (Mace) McCullough of Galion and Cathy (Troy) Argo of Shelby; son John (Michaela) Groh of Germany; two grandchildren Hunter Finnegan and Colin McCullough; a great-grandson Houston; sister Sandra Madzy of Berea, Ohio and two sisters-in-law Peggy Gary of Findlay and Nurhayat Gary of Toledo.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dallas and Eugene Gary.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 135 North Liberty
Street, Galion, Ohio 44833 with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating.
