HomeCare Matters Home Health and Hospice will hold their largest fundraising event of the year, the Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Auction, April 22, 6:30pm at William Crawford Intermediate School, 5444 Crestline Road, North Robinson, Ohio.

Now in its 16th year, the Celebrity Waiter Dinner and Auction raises money to provide home health and hospice care for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. All proceeds from the event funds HomeCare Matters direct patient care by helping to purchase much needed medicine, equipment and medical supplies.

“Our theme is baseball- The HomeCare Matters Team has your Health Bases Covered!” said Dean Heid, HomeCare Matters Development and Marketing Coordinator, “The Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds have both stepped up to help our mission by providing us with premium seats that will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. The auction will also feature hundreds of dollars in gift certificates, hand crafted quilts, family get-away travel packages and more donated by local community businesses, organizations and individuals. We’re also pleased to welcome the Ohio Village Ohio Muffins Vintage Baseball Team who will demonstrate the origins of America’s favorite pastime and serve as waiters. Last year with the community’s support, we raised just over $13,000. We hope to top that this year.”

$15 tickets that include a stadium worthy meal prepared by Special Occasions Catering of Upper Sandusky are available by calling 1-419-468-7985, 1-800-4 Nurses or by clicking on homecarematters.org. Donations and Sponsorships are still being accepted.
