Congratulations to Wynford senior Jacob Markley, this week’s Spitzer Motors Game Changer.
In the Royals 35-0 victory against rival Bucyrus, the lineman scored the first points of the game when he jumped on a loose fumble to score a touchdown. One quarter later, Markley picked up a blocked punt and returned it for his second touchdown of the game.
With the win, the Royals finished at 6-4 overall on the season.
The McDonald’s Player of the Game on WQEL was Blake Miler of Northmor High School.
