After twenty-six years, a Bucyrus woman is a step closer to owning the land her home sits on.

Beverly Klinkert approached the Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals to request an area variance that would grant her a lot split at 564 Kaler Avenue. The lot split is needed as Klinkert works to purchase the land where her home is located. The home had been built before the area was zoned.

The Board of Zoning Appeals motioned to provide an area variance for the lot split with reciprocal easements. The matter will now proceed on to the Bucyrus City Planning Commission.
