GALION — Three weeks after a water main break brought flooding and an upturned roadway, detour signs are coming down.

City of Galion administrators announced that Harding Way West from the Public Square to Union Streets has fresh asphalt and is now open for traffic.

The city released a statement thanking residents and affected businesses for their patience during the emergency repair process that began on August 14.
