BUCYRUS — Approximately 1,047 residents are without power on the north end of Bucyrus, according to the AEP Ohio outage map website.
According to a representative of AEP Ohio, crews are in the Bucyrus area, but have not yet determined what the cause of the outage is.
Bucyrus City Service Safety Director Jeff Wagner said the outage did not seem to have any connections to the Plymouth Street project.
“Our crews are not working in the tree lawn and we have checked the area for any issues on our end that would affect the electric,” Wagner said.
The estimated time for complete restoration for the area is 4:30 p.m.
Some residents have reported their power already being restored.
The outage may be tracked at the AEP Ohio outage map website.
