Sis Love is used to taking on the responsibilities of leadership and just added another hat to her professional hall tree which is already overflowing.

Love, the current president of Bucyrus City Council, was recently named to the Board of Directors for the Ohio Municipal League. Love will serve as the board’s second vice president. The assignment means that Love will become the organization’s president in two years.

Love has had and continues to hold leadership roles in her family’s business, her job in the private sector and in local government. Love has been a member of the Bucyrus City Council since 2004 and became that body’s president in 2012. Love was also honored as a member of the Crawford County’s 10 Outstanding Women in 2011.

Love is particularly concerned about House Bill 5 which, if passed, would overhaul the state’s municipal income tax system and could place additional fiscal pressures on municipalities already strapped by state budget cuts.
