A temporary traffic pattern change is in place at the intersection of E. Mansfield St. and Stetzer Rd. near the Walmart in Bucyrus.
The intersection, which typically is controlled by a traffic light, currently is operating as a two-way stop.
Traffic coming off Stetzer Rd. must follow the stop signs in place, while traffic on E. Mansfield St. has the continuing right of way.
According to Bucyrus Police Capt. Greg Stevens, officers were dispatched to the intersection at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday. Stevens said both the traffic lights and wires were found on the ground.
Stevens said the reason for the damage is unknown.
Motorists are asked to use extreme caution while in the area until the issue is fixed.
