Judith A. ”Jude” Bush, 61, of Mansfield, died Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home.

Jude was born in Mansfield, on January 14, 1956 and was the only child of the late Franklin E. and Evelyn M. (Brastajn) Wheeler.

Jude was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School, Mansfield.  She was employed by General Motors until her retirement.  Jude was a member of the White Lily Chapel, Ashley.  She became a member of Alcoholics Anonymous on February 12, 2017 and it became part of her life from then on.  Jude took the program of Alcoholics Anonymous to those women who were incarcerated for many years.  Jude recognized the need and the benefit of taking the program to those who were looking for an answer.  She remained active in the AA program for the rest of her life.   Jude was very comfortable letting you know where she stood. If you valued your life, you never called her Judy.   She loved music.

Jude’s friends are invited to come and remember her after 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Grace Episcopal Church, at the corner of Third and Bowman Streets, Mansfield.  A Memorial Service remembering her life will begin at 7:30 PM, led by her Pastor Cindy Berkshire of the White Lily Chapel.
