NEWS RELEASE:
Three students from Wynford Elementary will be representing their school at the Crawford County Spelling Bee after claiming a top-three finish at the district level.
The Wynford spelling bee went 24 rounds with fifth-grade student Drew Johnson claiming the champion spot.
Fifth-grade student Marty Schuster claimed second place and fourth-grade student Emily Schuster claimed third place.
All three students will be representing Wynford Elementary at Bucyrus High School for the Crawford County Spelling Bee on Jan. 11 at 7pm. The snow date is Thursday, Jan. 18.
The Tri-County Spelling Bee will take place at the Mid Ohio Educational Service Center on Feb. 8 at 6:30pm. The snow date is February 15.
