A former Bucyrus resident is now a wanted man according to Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine. Mike DeWine is alerting the public about a sexual predator who has failed to register his correct address with authorities as required by law. A warrant for Randy Ray Bowman was issued by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in September for failure to register.

According to Crawford County authorities, Bowman notified them that he would register in Knox County. However, he never registered there, using the Mount Vernon address provided to Crawford County authorities.

Bowman’s whereabouts are not known.

According to public records, Bowman was labeled a sexual predator after being convicted in Indiana on a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor in 2004. Records show he previously violated his address registry requirements.

Bowman was convicted here of not registering in 2013 and was convicted here in 2002 of felony breaking and entering.

Bowman has multiple tattoos, including a heart with flames on his left shoulder and a skull and eagle on his back. Bowman is 5-foot-7, weighs 210 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about Bowman’s whereabouts should call the sheriff’s office at 419-562-7906, or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 855-BCI-OHIO (855-224-6446).
