The 17th edition of the Crawford Farm Machinery Show kicked-off Thursday afternoon at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, with the feature tractor being International Harvesters. Opening ceremonies began at noon and were presented by president of the Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association, Mike McCracken. The Kiddy Pedal Tractor Pull was held at 1 p.m.
The feature of the day began at 4:30 p.m. in the Youth Building, the annual Pork Chop Dinner. Guests enjoyed the entertainment by Gertrude Arnold, or could carry out. To end the night with a bang, an auction of baked goods and other miscellaneous items followed dinner.
Throughout the entire three-day-show, a flea market and swap meet can be enjoyed. For those showing up with a hungry stomach, a variety of food vendors will be selling yummy treats. The Antique Farm Machinery Association’s museum and the model train building will remain open for viewing each day of the show.
With a wide variety of events taking place, McCracken wanted the community to know that there is something for all ages to enjoy. McCracken explained what keeps him wanting to help put this event on for the community.
“Seeing all the tractors and engines and stuff that come in, I enjoy that the most. And seeing people that you don’t see during the year,” McCracken said.

8:00 a.m. – Gates open: $3 per person, 10 years and older
1:00 p.m. – Kiddy Pedal Tractor Pull (free, four different classes)
4:00 p.m. – Back gate $10 per person, 10 years and older
6:30 p.m. – Antique Tractor Pull
SATURDAY
8:00 a.m. – Gates open: $3 per person, 10 years and older
8:00 a.m. – Back gate: $10 per person, 10 years and older
9:00 a.m. – Car Show
9:00 a.m. – Garden Tractor Pull registration
10:00 a.m. – Kiddy Pedal Tractor Pull (free, four different classes)
10:00 a.m. – Garden Tractor Pull
2:00 p.m. – Kiddy Pedal Tractor Pull (free, four different classes)
6:00 p.m. – Truck Pull
