Voters in all six public school districts in Crawford County will elect members to their respective boards of education, but in only three of those districts will the races be contested in Tuesday’s General Election.
Bucyrus has just one person, Bradley Murtiff, running for two open seats while Galion has two candidates, Jennifer Kuns and Heath Watkins, for two seats. Wynford has three candidates, Steve Crall, Debra Gifford and Fred Hendricks, for three seats.
Crestline voters will elect three board members from the five-candidate field of Robyn Almanson, James Glauer, Barb Poole, Robert Salvati and Jeff Wilhite.
Bucyrus Central voters will pick from Steve Aichholz, Elizabeth Diesch, Bernie Kessler and Chris Martin to fill three seats.
There are also three open seats in the Colonel Crawford school district and voters will choose between Margaret Hoyles, Timothy Ley, Chad Slagle, Shane Stuckman and Mike Tinkey.
All Crawford County voters will selct a member for the North Central Ohio E.S. C. Governing Board to represent the 8th District. However there is only one candidate fort hat seat, April Shroll.
