A total of nineteen people were arrested in Crawford County by the Bucyrus and Galion police departments last week.

Bucyrus police arrested two people on Oct. 17. Officers arrested twenty-one-year-old Jessica L. Meadows on W. Mansfield St. on an active warrant out of Crawford County. That same evening officers arrested forty-nine-year-old Stephen E. Horning on a warrant out of Arkansas. Both Meadows and Horning were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center, with Horning awaiting extradition to Arkansas.

Officers stopped to investigate a disturbance near 1529 Marion Rd. on Oct. 19 and while there arrested thirty-five-year-old Billy R. Lykins on warrants out of Crawford and Seneca Counties. He was taken to the county jail.

Officers also responded to a domestic dispute on Oct. 20. Twenty-two-year-old Kylie L. Smith was arrested at her residence and charged with domestic violence. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance. Later that day, Bucyrus police arrested thirty-year-old Tara E. Painter at Walmart and charged her with theft and criminal trespass. She was released pending a court appearance.

Officers arrested forty-nine-year-old Rex A. Beecham Sunday evening and charged with aggravated burglary. The charge stemmed from an attempted home invasion at 311 N. Walnut St. on Oct. 18. Beecham was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

While investigating a report of dogs running loose on Penn Ave. Sunday night, officer located thirty-year-old Jason D. Nelson in the area and arrested him for domestic violence, a charge that stemmed from a previous incident on S. Poplar St. He was also taken to the county jail.

Twelve others were arrested by Galion police on unrelated charges between Oct. 14 and Oct. 20. The arrested included twenty-nine-year-old John Osborne; twenty-three-year-old Kara Lynn Burns (disorderly conduct and criminal damaging/endangering); twenty-one-year-old Brandon J. Fox (disorderly conduct); thirty-two-year-old Emily M. Hedrick; twenty-three-year-old Jessie T. McCurrie of Fort Wayne, Indiana (breaking and entering); twenty-nine-year-old David J. Jackson; twenty-eight-year-old Nathan L. Bostic; twenty-nine-year-old James E. Cushing of Mansfield (breaking and entering, possessing criminal tools); thirty-year-old Michael D. Jackson of Mansfield (breaking and entering, possessing criminal tools); fifty-four-year-old Ronnie E. Barnett; and twenty-four-year-old Blake R. Wellman of Cardinton (physical control). Galion officers arrested thirty-three-year-old Nicholaus P. Davis twice for disorderly conduct, once on Oct. 16 and again on Oct. 18.
