Crawford County Dog warden Angela Chandler is reminding all dog owners that the deadline for purchasing a 2017 license for their animals is Jan. 31.
Licenses purchased on or before that date are $16. Licenses purchased after that date will have a $16 penalty added. Contact either the dog warden or Crawford County Auditor’s Office for information on where dog licenses can be purchased.
As of Nov. 30, 2016, there were 7,892 individual dog licenses in Crawford County, 231 three-year licenses, 19 lifetime licenses and 42 kennel licenses.
So far in 2017 there are 4,220 individual licenses, 149 three-year-licenses, 25 lifetime licenses and 16 kennel licenses sold.
