Columbus – On Jan. 18 the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO approved construction authorization from the Ohio Rail Development Commission (ORDC) directing Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway and RJ Corman Railroad to make improvements at rail crossings in Crawford, Summit, and Tuscarawas counties.
Wheeling and Lake Erie will install lights and gates at the Scott Road/County Road 50 rail crossing.
The grade crossing improvement projects are to be completed by Oct. 18, 2017.
