Bucyrus – The Bucyrus Rotary Club will be sponsoring their annual pancake breakfast Saturday, February 11 at Bucyrus High School.

“We are pleased to announce that our 44th annual Pancake Breakfast will be served from 7:00AM to 1:00PM at the Bucyrus High School. It’s a tastefully prepared pancake and sausage meal with entertainment provided throughout the morning. We are excited that proceeds from this fund-raising project will provide support for a variety of needs in the Bucyrus community,” stated Tami Tima and John Kime, Co-Chairpersons.

The Bucyrus Pancake Day was launched in 1973. The express purpose is to fund benevolent projects throughout the Bucyrus community. To date, over $172,000 has been raised through the generous support of the public as a result of this annual event. Projects funded with recent proceeds include, Gatlinburg, Tennessee fire relief assistance, Parkinson Association, Leader in Me programs at Bucyrus and Wynford Elementary Schools, Aumiller Park and Washington Square island beautification along with financial support of various community missions.

Numerous organizations have contributed charitably toward the success of this year’s fundraiser. They include: Advanced Fiber Technology, FCBank, Hord Livestock, J&F Construction, Pisanello’s Pizza, Spreng Capital Management and United Bank. The breakfast will be served by the Bucyrus Rotarians along with volunteer groups.

“Rotary Pancake Day is an enjoyable breakfast experience. There will be something for the entire family. So please include your children. The community is grateful for your support of this worthwhile benefit. We look forward to serving you at Bucyrus High School on February 11,” Tami said.
