It was a cross-conference battle in New Washington last night when the Willard Flashes came to town for an N10-NOL showdown with the Bucks. A slow-paced first half sent the teams to the locker room with Willard leading 20-12 and a combined 16 turnovers.
The second half proved to be much different for Buckeye Central. The Bucks outscored their opponents 36- 24 and collected their fifth win of the season with a final of 48- 44. Buckeye Central was paced by Jacob Shade’s double-double as he finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Buckeye Central is now 5-6 on the season. The are back on the floor Saturday when the travel to Wynford for their first of two games with the Royals.
