Bucyrus Law Director Rob Ratliff will be taking on some extra duties soon.
According to the Crestline Advocate, the Crestline Village Council approved the appointment of Ratliff as a magistrate on the Crestline Mayor’s Court in 2017. Ratliff will be replacing Amy Scropits in January at a rate of $90 per hour for hours worked.
The council also appointed Jon Burton as the 2017 village law director for civil matters while David Keller will be serving a similar position in criminal matters. Burton will be paid $125 per hour and Keller will receive $27,540 per year, though neither man will receive employment benefits.
