The Crestline Lady Bulldogs were on the hardwood last night as they hosted Lucas in a Mid-Buckeye League contest.

The Bulldog offense was sluggish in the first half, only scoring six points to Lucas’s 21. Free throws proved to be a big problem as the Lady Dogs hit just two of 14 in the half from the charity stripe.

The offense livened in the second half, but a little too late as the Lady Cubs pushed the lead to 17 by the end of the third quarter. Lucas won the game by a final of 43-20 and moved its record to 3 – 3 on the season.

Lauryn Tadda led the Lady Bulldogs with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Dennessa Baker chipped in 5 points and 4 boards. The loss drops Crestline to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in MBL play.

The Lady Bulldogs play next on Saturday when they travel to Ridgedale.
