No vehicle titles to be processed at the end of the month

A change across the state of Ohio by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will change the processing of vehicle titles in 2017.

A change across the state of Ohio by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will change the processing of vehicle titles in 2017. However, the change will mean that no local Title Office, including Crawford County, will be able to issue any vehicle titles from Dec. 30 through Jan. 2.

According to Julie Wolfe the local office will be closed during that time. Although some title offices intend to remain open during that time for clerical purposes, the Crawford County office will not.

Wolfe said she is hopeful that when the office reopens on Jan. 3 it will be back to business as usual. She does, however, ask that customers be patient throughout the implementation of the new process.
