A Canton man who spent less than a month in prison will be making a return trip there.

Randall Flick, 30, admitted in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Monday afternoon to violating his community control after he failed to report for an office visit, was arrested by the Galion Police Department, and tested positive in a urinalysis for THC.

Judge Sean Leuthold re-imposed Flick’s original 12-month prison sentence. Flick pleaded guilty to drug possession in August.

Thirty-two-year-old Brandon Brown admitted to violating his community control and pleaded guilty to a new charge. As a result, the Bucyrus man was sentenced to 75 days in the county jail.

Brown was charged with domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony, but an agreement between him and the State saw the charge amended to a misdemeanor 1 assault. With Brown’s admission to his probation violation, he was continued on community control and ordered to complete a drug and alcohol treatment program.

Thirty-year-old Brandon White, of Sulphur Springs, pleaded guilty to possessing drugs and improperly handling firearms, both fifth-degree felonies. White, who was not prison eligible, was placed on community control for two years, fined $1,250, and ordered to forfeit drug-related property, a gun, and ammo to the Crestline Police Department. He must also enter a drug and alcohol treatment program.

Leuthold issued an arrest warrant for Sha Dawn Smith after she failed to appear for a court hearing. Her attorney, Sebastian Berger, said he had no contact with Smith despite repeat attempts to reach her.

The 24-year-old Mansfield woman, who was to appear in court for a pretrial hearing Monday afternoon, has been charged with felony 4 receiving stolen property.
