A 25-year-old Mansfield woman was charged with violating probation after just one month on the program and as a result will spend the next eight months in prison.
Myriah Nikolaus admitted to Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold to violating three conditions of probation, including not making it to her first ISAT meeting before being arrested.
Per an agreement worked out with the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office, the judge sentenced Nikolaus to eight months in prison

Two men serving prison sentences returned to court regarding their motions for early release. Judge Leuthold granted those motions to both Jason Gernert and Tyler Wireman who were serving sentences for drug-related felony convictions.

In other court news, Jessica Smith waived extradition to Florida. Smith had been arrested by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and was held on a felony warrant issued by Manatee County
