Monday’s felony arraignments in Crawford County Common Pleas Court revealed that drug offenses continue to be a local issue of importance, however, sex-related offenses were also glaringly apparent.
James Ernsberger’s bond was set by Judge Sean Leuthold at $200,000 following Ernsberger’s initial not guilty plea to felony 3 compelling prostitution, felony 5 importuning, and felony 4 attempted unlawful conduct with a minor.
Bond was set for Thomas Sibbalds at $100,000. Sibbalds is charged with and pleaded not guilty to five counts of pandering sexually-oriented materials involving minors and 10 counts of felony 4 pandering obscenity. If convicted on all counts, Sibbalds could be sentenced to prison for as many as 22-and-one-half years.
The bond set for 18-year-old Zachary Johnson was $75,000. Johnson is charged with felony 4 unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
The following is a list of those arraigned on Monday along with the charges they face and bonds set: James Ernsberger, F3 compelling prostitution, F5 importuning, and F4 attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor ($200,000); Jesse Phillips-Hanah, F5 drug trafficking and M1 theft ($100,000); Thomas Sibbalds, five counts of F4 pandering sexually-oriented materials involving a minor and 10 counts of F4 pandering obscenities ($100,000); Erin Obenour, two counts of F2 burglary and two counts of F5 forgery ($250,000); Paul Clum, F5 theft ($25,000); James Davis, two counts of F4 theft (personal recognizance bond); Brandon Nusbaum, F3 drug possession and F3 drug trafficking ($250,000); Scott Fearn, F4 felony DUI ($50,000); Sheena Meeks, F5 drug possession ($75,000); Timothy Woods, two counts F3 domestic violence ($150,000); Zachary Johnson, F4 unlawful sexual conduct with a minor ($75,000); Joseph Strickland, F5 possession ($50,000).
